I have someone added as a user and a reviewer to a module, but when they try to set up their account, despite entering something in all fields, their ‘submit’ button can’t be selected (i.e. it stays greyed out) - has anyone encountered this before? I have removed and recreated their account but it’s still persisting.
This should only happen if:
- any of the 4 fields on the registration page have not been completed, or:
- the password length is fewer than 12 characters, or:
- ‘password’ and ‘confirm password’ don’t match
I’ve just double-checked and the above holds true for me.
(There are some additional security checks performed on the password but they take place after clicking Submit)
It might be an idea to recommend this person types out their password in Notepad/TextEdit/similar, double-checks it’s at least 12 characters, then copies & pastes it into the relevant fields.
