Hi, I’ve been using the graphic text option to put quotes on images…is there a way to lock in their position? The text goes all over the place depending on the size of my browser so I imagine it will be similar on mobile. I don’t see an option to ‘lock’ it in it’s positon with the padding values added.
Hi Melissa, that is the case I’m afraid, you can’t lock it in place - because Evolve content dynamically resizes depending on screen dimension. You could consider using an image caption instead or the infographic component.

I don’t think Evolve content dynamically resizes depending on screen dimension. I also had a similar issue, so we decided to write the text on the graphic and then insert image instead of using the Enable Graphic Text feature. Inserting an image with text is not ideal because we have to re-upload the image every time we edit the wording.
Here is an example of the text-on-graphic that doesn’t resize in different screen sizes.
- Desktop, 2. Tablet (portrait), 3. Mobile (portrait), 4. Mobile (landscape).
P.S. I didn’t realize this topic was 10 months ago…but I got an email notification about this topic yesterday. Sorry, I have to revive it. Hopefully, we can find a responsive solution to get a dynamic font-size based on the viewport.
Cheers!
Yes - text in an image isn’t accessible either so this is the right way to do it.
Evolve will resize the text but you have to set the text sizes you want it to use for each device size. So when you enter text over a graphic look for this in the settings:
or if you are using something like flipcards it will be set in the theme under Component Items and will look like this:
where you should click on each icon to set the different font sizes for your devices.
Hope that helps!
