Hey,
In our project in Evolve, we have ‘continue’ buttons that are part of triggers I have implemented. For example, on this page, you can see that article 2.1 is hidden, and only when the user clicks the button, article 2.1 will be revealed. I wanted to add an option for a progress bar, but unfortunately, it won’t show article 2.1 since it is on “hidden”. Do you have any idea how to overcome this issue? Maybe use a different option instead of hidden or a different progress bar?
Thank you!
By progress bar, do you mean the Scroll Progress extension or the progress bar on the menu of the course, or something else?
Have you tried the Content Locking extension? It will lock articles until the article before is complete (or the setting of your choice) and then should be part of your progress bar.
Hey, thank you for your answer! I used the “progress bar extension” and set it to display as Sticky Nav.
Since I would like the user to view their progress only within the page and not across the entire course (which has only one page).
The reason I used the “hidden” option is that we have articles with text components only so only after the user clicks in continue the article will be shown. If I use “content locking extension” - how can we ensure that the article will be unlocked after the user finishes reading the text?
In addition how can we make sure that the article is on a complete sign (In green) in the sticky nav when the user has to read only?
Thank you!
