Sticky Nav Progress Bar

We like to use the Sticky Nav progress bar at the top of a lesson so our learners can see if they have not completed a particular article etc… HOWEVER we also use the Intellum Platform and when we place the sticky nav in the lesson and upload it into the platform…the sticky nav does not stay at the top of the screen like it does in the lesson preview. It scrolls with the page and gets in the way of some of the material. Is there a way to “pin” the sticky nav so that it stays at the top of the screen and does not get in the way? Here is a picture of a Drag&Drop where the Sticky nave gets in the way.

Hi @Jhouse ! I’ll take a look at this for you with an example on my own platform instance. Can you tell me:

  1. Is it a single or multipage course?
  2. Are you using inline Evolve in the platform?
  3. If yes to inline, Are you using the new Immersive mode for inline evolve?

After doing soem testing I can replicate when you use Inline Evolve for courses, so your options are:

  1. BEST SOLUTION: Use Immersive Inline Evolve and keep using inline Evolve and Sticky Nav:
  2. Do not use Inline Evolve for the course and continue using Sticky Nav
  3. Continue with in-line Evolve and use article indicator rather than progress extension.

Hope that helps!

Sorry I did not answer sooner…

  1. Yes these are all using inline and immersive.
  2. the course you see the image of is a one-page course but we were also using it in multipage courses.

So if I am reading your 2nd response correctly… if we turn OFF Inline and Immersive it would work…OR we could just use article indicator rather than the sticky nav.

Hmmm no by using inline and immersive Evolve together as shown in the picture that worked fine for me, with Sticky Nav staying at the top as expected. It was when immersive experience was turned off that it didn’t. If you want to DM me your platform instance name I could take a look?

The article indicator works to move between articles but won’t be ticked when complete.

If you take a look at the article I linked, it shows you which extensions and features are compatible with Inline Evolve, and progress isn’t one of them, sadly.

Hi Helen!

Both inline and immersive were activated the Sticky Nav was moving with the screen. I will DM the platform instance shortly and you can take a look.
