Setting to turn off recommended width in search by default

I think a setting which turns off recommended width in search by default would be extremely useful. Or have it turned off by default but give a warning.

This is a really confusing setting at first, because its easily missed and a lot of people seem to assume that images are not showing up. Later on, it can be really annoying as there are many times when you will use images which do not meet the recommendations for good reason.

I agree. I would love to see this removed or allowed to be switched off.

This was something I raised a while ago and I remember @hbailey agreed that this would be really useful

I think it’s useful to some extent, but maybe moving it out of filters and up to the main part of the window might even help, so it’s less clicks to turn it off?

@Matt_Leathes what do you think?

Just wanted to reiterate that an account wide setting to turn this off by default would be my preference. Having it in the main search window would be a small improvement but the main issue is having to toggle it so often.

The ‘recommended width’ checkbox is now unchecked by default.
