Hyperlinks not doing as I had hoped

Hi, I have just completed my first module :slight_smile: I have uploaded it to test and have discovered that my hyperlinks open in a separate page, which is what I wanted, but when I return to the module I am taken right back to the start, I need to relaunch but I am taken back to the page I was on. Is there a way to stop me having to relaunch every time please? The course needs to go live 1st Jan so urgent help would be appreciated

Hi Shane,

That’s absolutely not the behaviour Evolve should display if you are opening hyperlinks into another page. When you return to the tab or page with the course it should be just where it was.

Which LMS are you using? Could you reply with a link to your course too so we can take a look?

Thank you so much for your response. When I launch the LMS it opens in a tab, when I open the course it opens in my browser, when I click a hyperlink, it opens in the tabs next to the LMS. (I am not literate at all this!) so, I was reading and going back to the tab, whereas I needed to go back to my browser to get back to the course. I am WFH and my partner tells me this is right. For me, I would be going between open tabs. But he tells me it is behaving as expected.

Sorry to bother you Helen, My New Years resolution is to stop panicking and learn the system!!
