Our company has very specific branding requirements regarding font usage on all enablement materials for both internal and external audiences. I am able to upload some of our fonts (all are .ttf and supported by Evolve), but only the regular and bold weights appear in the list. I get a confirmation msg that the upload was successful, but most of the uploaded fonts remain unavailable for use. Why is this?
Hey Rob!
Welcome to the Evolve community.
So for every font weight and style you want to use, you need to have the 5 file types for them all: .eot , .svg , .tff , .woff , .woff2 .
So say for 8 styles of font you want, there will need to be a zip of 40 files.
Hope that makes sense! You can use a site like Fontie or Transfonter to make them.
I followed your instructions and created the 5 file types: .eot , .svg , .tff , .woff , .woff2 for one of the fonts, total of 5 files. Then I zipped them, uploaded them, again received the confirmation notification that upload was successful, but the fonts do not appear in the list. What should I do?
You need to make sure that you are zipping the files only and not a folder containing them. This is especially hard if using a Mac.
Make sure there are no other files in your zip whatsoever. Just those 5 font types.
Also make sure you are choosing from the installed fonts list within your theme.

Thanks. Turned out I had zipped at the folder level. The fonts I needed are now available. But please consider reworking the text notification received. Each time the notification said the font files were ‘successfully uploaded and available for use.’ But, clearly they were neither. This really needs to be fixed. And the user product instructions should be reworded as well to specifically define how to upload the fonts correctly.
Again, thanks for your help.
Both very valid points, thanks for raising. We will get these addressed.
