Currently when we want to include information above menu items in a section, the body text is within the title box. I have included an image to show what I mean.
I wanted to know if it is possible to have the text appear as a separate article so that it would appear below the title and not attached to it. We feel that it would be clearer and easier for learners to read.
If you look in Theme > Menu Content Item and enable ‘Use Menu Content Item Styles’ you’ll have lots of options underneath that setting you can use to control the styling of these without affecting the styling of anything else in your course.
Many times, I will use the Menu Content Items that everyone is mentioning. If I cannot get it perfect…sometimes I will build a graphic image of how I WANT it to look and just add that image to the Menu Content item so it will be EXACTLY how I want it to look.
I’ve been off a while so I am only just revisiting this help. Unfortunately I didn’t make myself clear.
The above image is from a topic. And the only place the body text will go is into the heading banner. I would like if possible for there to be a box below it to contain information about the topic.
Not sure if this will help but one option would be to add a Hero Image/Title/Body to the topic - the topic body text will then be shown underneath that as a separate section.
