I have a question regarding SCORM completion in Evolve.
In some other authoring tools, it is possible to define in the course settings that a course is marked as completed once a learner has viewed, for example, 80% of the content.
In Evolve Legacy, completion currently requires that the entire course is completed — meaning all pages are viewed and all interactive elements are engaged with.
While it is technically possible to control completion behavior using an extension, this approach feels not very intuitive for standard use cases.
Has a percentage-based completion setting (e.g. “mark as completed at 80% progress”) already been considered for the new version of Evolve?
This would provide more flexibility, especially for longer courses or learning scenarios where full linear completion is not pedagogically required.

I have seen ‘percentage completed’ in one or two other e-learning tools, it’s always seemed a bit arbitrary to me?
I’ve always felt it’s better to be able to target completion based on exactly those elements of the course which are most important.
This you can of course do in new Evolve - either by using the standard completion settings and excluding any elements you don’t want to be counted towards completion; or by using Logic completion for ultimate flexibility.

Our courses tend to be quite extensive, with many components. From our experience with Evolve Legacy, defining exactly which elements should count toward completion can require quite a bit of manual configuration — especially when courses are updated regularly.
I get the point about percentage-based completion feeling arbitrary. For us, though, it’s mainly a practical solution. In larger courses, a threshold like 80–90% is a simple way to reflect substantial engagement without having to fine-tune every single component.
For us, it’s less about precision and more about keeping things workable across complex courses. Based on your reply, I assume there are currently no plans to introduce a percentage-based option for New Evolve?

There are currently no plans but that’s not to say it wouldn’t ever happen, if we had more requests for this specific functionality it would definitely be worth considering.
For the moment you can achieve similar functionality using Logic.
