What details to give when logging a support

If you log a support ticket inside Evolve we’d ask that you provide as much detail about the issue you’re experiencing so that we can get you a solution as quickly as possible.

If possible, provide the following:

  • The URL (web address) of your Evolve instance.
  • The titles of course or courses affected.
  • Screenshots of the problem.
  • Details of steps taken & what you were trying to achieve
  • If related to a component, please let us know which page and article it is in.

My understanding is that a lot of this information (Browser, URL, Course Title) is captured automatically by the “Contact Support” form inside the authoring enviro. Is that not correct?

The browser type and course title aren’t captured - we have a course ID as part of the submission.
