What are the steps to add the certificate to the course that I have created?

As per the steps I have added the certificate but how can I test whether the certificate has been added?

When I am trying in live preview it is not showing up could you please share the steps to do that?
So firstly I would check that the certificate extension is definitely enabled in your course, eg on the extensions page it has the enabled checkbox selected, like this:
Note in the behavior tab of the extension you set how the certificate is triggered - which is either course attainment, course assessment or a combo of both. You need to ensure the correct extension for how you want the course to complete is enabled and set up correctly, and the correct completion method is also set in your course settings > behavior, eg here:
Then in live preview you need to trigger the course completing in the same way a learner would and then the certificate will be triggered.
