The future of learning content creation has arrived—the all-new Evolve is here!
Built from scratch with a modern interface and AI-ready foundation, Evolve makes it easier than ever to design, collaborate, and scale impactful learning experiences.
You don’t need to migrate right away, but we’d love for you to see what’s new. Catch today’s launch webinar or check out the details here.
Want to give the new Evolve a spin? Current Evolve account owners can request a free, 30-day preview account through the Intellum Support Portal.
Thanks for sharing this update Helen, and congratulations to the team on reaching this milestone with the new platform.
For more experienced users, the power of Legacy Evolve comes from the depth of its components, customisation options, and theming, which set it apart from other tools in the market.
Exploring the new Evolve today, I can see the potential and I’m looking forward to seeing it develop as more functionality is added. At the same time, it currently feels like a step backwards across many components and theming options that I rely on, and the possibility of Legacy Evolve eventually losing support creates some uncertainty.
Clear communication on the roadmap, particularly which components and options will be carried forward, as well as timelines and plans for ongoing support would be really helpful in planning for the future and knowing when the right time to migrate might be.
@hbailey Due to the time difference, some of us were unable to watch it live, so we did register hoping that we would be able to watch the recording. We have tried to click access a recording, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Do you know if it’s possible to watch a recording of it?
We’re currently investigating this - for some reason the button to watch the webinar after you register for the recording is not appearing - apologies, we’ll let you know when it is fixed.
We realise it could be a slightly uncertain time right now but we promise to keep everyone informed of developments and plans way in advance, and to help with migration when the time is right.
What the aim is with the current release is to get those who have the time and inclination to try it out early, give us their feedback, shape the development of it until we are confident that it is feature rich, and is working the best it can be, before we move over content.
We’d love you to be part of that journey as we very much respect your input here!
As an agency, we have several licenses. My all new Evolve account is only available for 30 days, and then I am supposed to pay $1,500 on top of my existing licenses to test alpha software and provide feedback to Intellum. Please, if you want us to join you on this journey, it is not ideal to ask us, as paying customers, to pay again for an alpha. Can you reconsider this concept?
Our agency has a huge number of multilingual courses that we need to maintain for our customers over the next years. These are uncertain times, and we are unsure about how much we can continue to trust Evolve as our main tool. This is relevant to our business, and that is actually a compliment to Evolve.
The answers are far too vague and imprecise for me. In order for us to continue working with you, we need more clarity in your statements.
Are there any guarantees that existing courses can continue to be used in multiple languages?
How long will legacy continue to be supported?
Which key features are guaranteed to continue to be implemented (e.g., logic)?
Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely see the added value of the new version and am excited to be able to create e-learning courses in a modern way. Thank you very much for your feedback.
Thanks for sharing your feedback — we know this change is important to many of our customers, and we want to be clear about what it means for you. Legacy Evolve will continue to be supported, so your existing courses and workflows remain safe. At the same time, the new Evolve is where we’re focusing our investment and innovation moving forward.
As an existing customer, you can request a free 30-day preview of the new Evolve at any time. After your preview, you can decide whether to keep working only in Legacy, continue with the new Evolve, or run both side by side while we build a migration pathway and add more features.
We’ve recently revised our overview post to include clarification about the new Evolve roadmap, pricing and access details, and a short FAQ that addresses the most common questions we’ve heard from customers. You can read it here: Evolve’s Future: What You Can Expect (and How to Help Shape It) : Intellum
In the meantime, I’ve tried the new Evolve and see many interesting approaches. Congratulations.
Thank you also for your clarification in the blog post, Anderson.
There are still certain things I don’t understand. As an existing user, I’m supposed to try out a half-finished tool and help shape it. And we’re supposed to pay for “helping shape it”? After testing it, I found some minor bugs and areas for optimization. My team is happy to share their experiences with you. But paying you for this service doesn’t seem right to me.
Thanks for giving the new Evolve a try and sharing your feedback, Pablo. Just to clarify: no one is being asked to pay for the new Evolve until that new version meets their needs. The 30-day preview is free, and if you don’t want to continue after that, your new Evolve account will simply go dormant. You’ll maintain access to your Legacy Evolve subscription, and you can come back to the new Evolve when it has the features that match your priorities.
