I was having an issue with a course and tried to share it with other editors on my team. I went to the General category in the theme tab and since the course says it is locked by me, I added those other people as Theme editors. However, when I did that, neither person was able to get in to the course to look at it; it said they needed to request access. They tried this, and when I clicked the link to grant access, it took me to the General category, only now even I was completely locked out.
I backed out of the course and re-entered and got my editing privileges back. However, the others still cannot open or view my template. We were trying to figure out why one of my interactions is displaying in a strange color from my theme colors, but doesn’t show why under any of the article style settings.
We are all pretty new to Evolve, so I understand there may be a very basic explanation for this behavior, but I need help figuring this out! I need a second set of eyes on my course. Thank you!
I believe my coworkers and I have discovered the issue. The course I was looking at was using the theme from another course, and that other course was locking everyone out. I am speculating that I was locked out of my own course because when I followed the link to admit my coworkers, it opened a second tab that was viewing the same screen. It might mean that we just need some dialog boxes or something to explain to us newbies why it’s behaving this way. It had us stumped for several hours!
