I accidentally changed some colours in my theme and am trying to figure out how to get them back. There are 3 areas I’m stuck on: the hover colours on the progress extension text and the resource extension icon, and the standard colour of hyperlinks within the text. Could you point me in the right direction please?
Progress extension: I’d like to change the hover colour over this text -
We used to have these as different colours, but I accidentally changed some of the default colours in the colour palette and think this has had a knock-on effect. I’ve been able to backtrack and figure out all the other elements - it’s just these 3 I can’t seem to figure out! Thanks so much.
Both the Progress Extension and Resource extension items are set in Theme > Navigation > Navigation Side > Navigation Side Icon Colors
Link colours - if you’ve tried the main theme setting and that’s not working then it’s likely you have an article style set that’s overriding the main setting.
Thank you! It’s all sorted now. The progress text and side icon didn’t reflect the updated colour at the same time as some of the other navigation icons, which is why I thought it might be a different setting. Looks like it just needed a decent amount of time to update and reflect.
I found the issue with the links, and it was indeed an article style, thank you. I had originally checked this, but forgot about the top dropdown menu within the article style section that allows you to choose link/component/etc.
no problem at all, this sort of (completely understandable) confusion is why we’ve completely overhauled the way theming works in the new version of Evolve!
(the new version also has no delay between changing things in the theme and the course content updating)
