Attempts counter

I have included the attempts counter in all of the MCQs in my course, but it sets all the attempts at 3 even if i set the attempts available to 2 - I’ve tried changing it, removing it and re-entering the number of attempts but it’s not working - can anyone help?

Hi Libbyh,

Please go to your main course settings (Course Builder - Edit Course Settings) and then to Questions on the left hand menu.

Scroll right down to the bottom and see if Global number of question attempts is turned on and set here. If so, that will be overriding any individual question settings.
