Assessment extension: Hide menu item

Hi all

Is there a way to disable the Assessment menu item in Evolve? And more broadly, a direct option to disable the results page?

I find the Assessment Results page journey a bit awkward in some cases. My preference is to just have the Assessment Overview component present results on the same page as the questions, rather than divert the learner to another results page altogether.

I have disabled ‘Show Assessment Link Button in Completed Dialog’ which effectively prevents a learner going to the Results page via the dialog. However, there is still a link to the Assessment Results page in the menu. Is there a way to disable this menu item?

Would any other forum members support a feature request to have the Assessment component expanded to this use case scenario? (e.g. Have the results + animation appear in a page component, rather than a whole separate page).

Have you tried the ‘Course Assessment Result’ component?

Yes, (I referred to it in my initial post as the Assessment Overview component). I find when using it, it often makes the dedicated results page redundant (depending on the course/audience) - hence the request to see if an option to disable the results page could be considered :slight_smile:

I appreciate it’s not exactly what you’re after but you can completely hide the side nav menu that contains the link to the Assessment Page via Theme > Navigation > Settings > Hide Side Navigation
