Types of Feedback

Hello everyone;

I would like to seek clarification regarding the feedback types displayed for various components in our system. Most components include the following feedback options:

  • Correct
  • Incorrect Final
  • Incorrect Not Final
  • Partly Correct Final
  • Partly Correct Not Final

Based on my understanding, some components utilize these feedback types differently:

  • MCQs: Since the answers are selectable, there is no scenario for Partly Correct Final/Not Final feedback.
  • Drag and Drop: All feedback fields must be completed, as learners can get some, but not all, of the options correct.

My primary question is about the Text Input component feedback. Are there any scenarios where the system would display Partly Correct Final or Partly Correct Not Final feedback for this component?

Any help with this would be highly appreciated

Hi @Noor_AlAbdullah for the text input component, yes, partially feedback would be relevant - if you had more than one item and the learner answered 1 or more of the items correctly. If you look at Text Input > Feedback you will see there are sections for partly correct final and not final feedback. If your Text Input component only had one item, you wouldn’t need those feedbacks as the single answer would either be correct or incorrect.
