Although you can set an article background image, there are some situations where it would be really useful to be able to set a block background image. Being able to do that could help reduce the number of different article styles needed - we’ve sometimes found ourselves having to style an article to look like blocks so that a background image can be added.

One temporary option right now in some circumstances is to make your article have no padding so it is the same size as your block, then have your block background transparent so that the article background shows through. Not perfect I know, but may be something you can use until this request is considered?

Hi Helen, thanks for the suggestion. That’s what we’ve done in the past but it takes up an additional article style. It would be nice to avoid that : )
