Hi – curious to know what the community is using to storyboard Evolve projects. Are people just rapid-prototyping projects directly in the authoring tool? So much of what’s out there is slide-based. I’ve been trying to use a detailed outline and have just been including Evolve structural elements and interaction information as I go along. Thanks. ---

I dont storyboard. I blueprint. The storyboard mindset and terminology doesn’t work in this context as nothing is really moving from frame to frame. I usually will wireframe the course using a tool like sketch or figma. ---

Thanks for the feedback. So, what does that look like to your clients? Do you review the wireframes together online? How are comments tracked and then incorporated? Ideally my solution would be something clients could review asynchronously and without designer guidance. ---

I am currently creating a full componect library showing all components live online and matching sketch components to fill in with text. I figure i cand do this once and then use it as a starting point going forward. ---

Course, components are updated frequently and new components and features are introduced (logic, e.g.), so library projects like that always have to be kept fresh. Good visual, however, and a great way to quickly prototype interactions. Still leaves the storyboard question, though. ---

I probably didnt explain this well enough. So the interactions on sketch are not exact recreations of the components, The are storyboarding elements. They are a representation of each element with space below to place content. The point isnt to recreate a visual replica of the course. It’s reference the element while showing all the content and the flow. ---

Also prior to logic the last major update was almost 6 months before. Updates really arent an issue.
