# How to lock pages?

How can I lock my pages in advance? This is in order to force users to go through the learning in sequence. Within a page this is easily done by hiding sections, rows &c and then showing them on element completion &c.

For pages however I can see no way to do this. The stop-gap method I am using is to apply a series of ‘lock page’ actions on the very first screen of the course. However now we come to test within an LMS if a user returns to the training anywhere other than the first screen, the actions don’t work & the pages are all unlocked.

Learning sequence locking is an essential requirement for much of our training so I very much need to find a reliable method to enact it. So any help is very welcome!

Hey there!

In the Page menu at the top, choose the Actions menu for the page(s) you want to lock, and then select Lock from it.

Then use a Logic action on the element that you wish to use to unlock the page a page and set that action to Unlock Page and select the page(s) you wish to unlock.

I’d been looking in the Design and Settings panels for the place to lock them.

Any chance the lock & hide options could also be put in the Settings panel? It would be useful for sections, rows &c also.
