# Fix Drop Zone Height & Width

Is there a way to make the size of drop zones static in a drag and drop component? I have images as the background of each drop zone and they keep resizing as more answers are dropped into them. It’s a bit distracting to learners, but I don’t want to lose the helpful visual cue.

Hi Katherine, I don’t think that’s possible unfortunately. I think if it were the drop zones would have to be pretty huge to potentially accommodate all the items.
