I created a course for a client and sent all SCORM files to them. The client is looking to see if they can edit files (in the future) with an Evolve Free Trial but they get the following message when trying to import the files. It looks like the export has been changed - did either of you zip up the file further, or change anything within the zip? It works no problem for me (using the exact same files exported from EVOLVE) but my client claims she has tried with every file and she keeps getting the same result. ---

Hmm very odd - especially if you are able to import ok. - can you share anything more about her setup? As in the browser being used, what her evolve instance address is? I can see from the screenshot she is an admin so that’s fine… What size is the zip file? Thanks Helen ---

Just to add to this - please make sure that the file you send to them is not being further zipped or is being unzipped before they try to upload the file. They need to upload as the zip that comes from Evolve and in no other format. Helen ---

Hi, @hbailey I came across this issue this week. The person supplying the course was using export JSON rather than publish. Kinda makes sense when you look at the interface. Why wouldn’t export create the file to share 😏 ---

Please note everyone that importing into a free trial of Evolve is no longer permitted. Importing a course into a paid account must be from a published course in any of the publish formats (acorn, web etc) and not from a JSON export. HTH
