Does the Appitierre team or any of the community have suggestions for an alternative to the retired Google translation tool?

I had the same question today, was looking for a tool to translate a course into Khmer. I found Smartcat to be a great free alternative to the retired Google Translator Toolkit.
Result of test into Khmer (via Smartcat and HTML export/import in Evolve) below.
Adding here for future reference in case others need a translation option.
